STEM ILLINOIS

STEM NOLA is a culturally-responsive instructional framework and curriculum that provides hands-on activities, inquiry-based learning, standards based pre- and post- assessment tools, as well as teacher resource and development packages. The community-centered delivery model allows for the engagement of all stakeholders (children, parents, educators, college students, STEM + Arts professionals) simultaneously where they live, work and play.  This model will help the University attract and create pathways for talented youth to succeed at the University of Illinois. The goal is to build awareness in limited resource communities about building pathways to careers in STEM.
